I went to Ashford hospital recently for day surgery. Fantastic service from staff to finish. Couldn't fault the nurses looking after me on the way to surgery and in the recovery room. All very sweet, friendly and helpful - first care service!
I must start off by stating I have never normally had a bad experience at ashford hospital but this was by far the worst all due to a certain doctor! Dr Coebergh. She was rude, made me cry and had no time for me. She left the appointment mid way to say hello to someone and came back after 10 minutes just after she made me cry. There was no compassion or help from her at all. I left feeling no better than when I went in. She said my migraines were due to the medication the NHS had put me on...I said you put me on them and she said I didn’t. I’ve been suffering with migraines for 8 years now and not one doctor has been as rude as she was. I will not be going back to her again.
I had an appointment at the pre-op assessment clinic this afternoon.
As usual it was very efficiently run, well organised and with lovely staff who treated me well.
I was seen immediately on arrival and was transferred seamlessly between different staff members for different tests etc..
Having completed the online form I was only there 30 minutes.
I was very happy with everything as usual. Thank you to everyone concerned.
Really lovely consultant, very informative, professional, approachable and friendly. I felt cared for and important to the consultant.
This consultant is an excellent ambassador for the NHS.
Thank you
Completely satisfied with the virtual hand therapy session.
all staff were professional and thoughtful making your hospital stay as stress free as possible from start to finish. All areas of the hospital were spotless and well staffed, A big thank you from me
Had excellent care and nursing staff were very helpful.
Did not have opportunity to discuss dietary needs although I completed form expressing my allergies.
The assessment was helpful and I was given some constructive advice. Kim was compassionate, friendly and practical
Different to a face to face appointment, but within the current pandemic, was more appropriate. The added advantages were that there were no petrol costs nor parking charges to worry about. So completing the appointment from home saved money.
Due to the device I used (a desktop PC) the therapist, was unable to see me visually as I was requested to lay horizontally in order to execute an exercise.
Once again a big thank you to Kim Dunbar Associate OT Practitoner Hand Therapies for providing virtual advice, exercises and support to my 90 year Mum who sustained a Colles fracture back in July. Kim gives clear advice and helps to build Mum's confidence with her ongoing recovery to manage her everyday living. We have also found it invaluable to be able to communicate with Kim via email to answer any queries we have, and to receive the exercise sheets for reference. Kim has always been cheerful and friendly. Thanks once again Kim.
