My experience today was excellent. This appointment had been postponed. Unfortunately I did not receive a phone call or letter to tell me that the previous appointment had been postponed and so turned up for my appointment, having left work early, missing meetings. Please make sure that if appointments are changed, which I totally understand can't be helped from time to time, that the patient is informed. From this appointment, my treatment was organised very quickly and I was given good advice on better shoes to help my condition.

I did find the appointment a little rushed. I understand that the department was busy as the waiting room was full but it takes a long time to get an appointment and I felt there wasn't enough time to ask the questions I wanted to ask.

My parents were reviewed today it was lovely they had so much attention and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, they enjoyed the review. the part with Shelley from social services was very beneficial, dads going to get a buddy so he can go out with out the family and we are going to be supported with issues with the care agencies. Also its going to be looked into to see if he church can provide someone to take and accompany mum to church and if not then a carer will do so as I am not always available to do this for mum and its her highlight of the week to go every Saturday night, thanks again.
