I have been attending the hospital for nearly ten years following a diagnosis for cancer.
The staff in every department I have attended have treated me with the utmost courtesy and the treatment I have received has been first class. It puts my mind at rest
knowing that at every visit my doctor will listen to any problems I am experiencing and offer help. I can also contact a dedicated person if necessary and receive advise.
The hospital is world class always striving to make improvements.
My daughter is a HCA in Addenbrooks has been for 20 plus years.
In 1991 she had a liver transplant performed by Prof Calne, she kept it for 20 years.
Seven years ago she had a Viseral Ttransplant Liver ,Pancreas, Kidney, Portal Vein.
She has recently been advised that due to illness she has to retire.
Had it not been for Addenbrooks and the staff in it she would not have survived to be able to retire
She loves her job and has always says it has been her lifeline.
So we have nothing but the highest praise for the hospital and its staff .
My care at Addenbrookes has been and continues to be first class. I am currently under Orthopaedics and Oncology departments.
I came to addenbrookes yesterday with my mother who has dementia to see Dr Thamir Abraham she has multiple pre-cancerous areas and leg ulcer he was so kind to my mother and very caring it would be lovely if all doctors were like him
Very great hospital
I think that Addenbrooke's operates brilliantly and I am lucky to have such a forward thinking hospital as my local hospital
I am under Dr Amanda Cox in the Neurological Dept
She always treats me well, listens to me and is very
thorough.
easy check in process
car park easy to get to
plenty of notice for appointments
The best care ever. I was in a car accident and put into an induced coma with broken cheek bones, eye sockets, nose and jaw. They saved my life. The staff there are amazing. Over worked and underpaid if you ask me and deserve recognition. Thanks to you all my face is right again. Love you all
I was questioned at a registry - quite aggressively I thought, whether I was European and was kept waiting for four hours for a scheduled appointment to see a 'consultant ' who then insisted that she didn't have access to my test results (all tests were done at Addenbrook's Hospital) and didn't really consult anything. She was rude and totally unprofessional. It was a dreadful experience.
