My daughter is a HCA in Addenbrooks has been for 20 plus years. In 1991 she had a liver transplant performed by Prof Calne, she kept it for 20 years. Seven years ago she had a Viseral Ttransplant Liver ,Pancreas, Kidney, Portal Vein. She has recently been advised that due to illness she has to retire. Had it not been for Addenbrooks and the staff in it she would not have survived to be able to retire She loves her job and has always says it has been her lifeline. So we have nothing but the highest praise for the hospital and its staff .
