I went for an HGV medical exam, after filling up a form online I had a phone call asked to come down on Friday 1st of January, clearly they did not know it was new year anyway, i went first thing on Monday morning I handed the form then i got told i have to do my visual exam first then come back to them, after I explained to them that it can be done separately meaning they don't have to go in order, and my friends did it as well that way, and after a little arguement there they took the form, today I had a phone today by one of the receptionist asking me to come and collect my form as the doctor refused to fill up and his telling you that you have to do you visual exam first, i asked to speak to the doctor she put put me in hold for 2 sec then she said he's busy, So is my story I'm saying that the form hasn't left that reception, and no doctors said anything. This is what the dvla are saying on the gov website Details "Some doctors will be able to fill in both the vision and medical assessment sections of the report. If your doctor is unable to fully answer all the questions on the vision assessment, you must have it filled in by an optician or optometrist" https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/d4-medical-examiner-report-for-a-lorry-or-bus-driving-licence Please can Someone tell me what's your understanding on this ( clearly mentioned that your doctor should do your medical test first) The NHS gave them a warning to fix up but clearly no improvement whatsoever. Idk about you but I'm changing my GP for sure and also taking my whole family with me. Tbh for me to write a long review like this means it did really annoy me as none of us wants to be treated like an idiot, and yeah the reviews says it all
