I was seen with an extremely high blood pressure on 6th October, I then had a re-check on 17th October when it was still high. I was told I would need an ECG and a monitor and offered and appointment nearly a month later on 16th November. When I phoned I was kept on hold for 27minutes. I have registered with another surgery and was seen within 2 days. I would never recommend this surgery to anyone

Impossible to get an appointment! called last week to get an appointement and earliest appointment i can get is in 5 weeks

I would be happy with my care if I could actually get an appointment. Called today and was told there were no appointments for my requested doctor. I said can I book with another doctor? Which I was offered 10.40 on Tuesday which was not convenient as I work full time. I asked for any alternative which I was told none were available. So what do I do now??? I thought I would at least be able book an appointment in the next couple of weeks as it is not an emergency and I was prepared to wait but to be told nothing is available at all is unacceptable. After being with the surgery for the last 14 years I don't see any other choice but to find an alternative surgery as the appointment system being run is a shambles to working people.

I rarely visit, have been 3 times in 15 years. Have found the Doctors attentive and helpful..On one visit 15 years ago I was checked in by a member of the Cleaning staff and told where to sit by her..(which of course I ignored and sat where I wanted ).This experience did make me doubt the confidentiality of the practice.However I chose to overlook that one incident...If I could make one suggestion concerning General Healthcare..What is overlooked in society in general is the need of "Post menopausal" women..There is a lot of support for the lead up to it and also internet sites but could not some support group or similar be set up specifically for the P M women.. I know enough women and have visited enough forums to know there is a gaping hole in the Menopausal support system..specifically for Post women. Trust me, there are thousands of confused and at the end of their tether women out there with symptoms often attributed to "anxiety", when infact its lack of hormones !! I hope someone will take note..
