I find that even when I phone with a request to see a doctor. even if they have one doctor on triage is often offered. I find this a very good idea. I think more nurses are needed to take some of the burden off the doctors. I am pleased to see refurbishment is going to take place.

I am pleased to know that the surgery is to be updated in November 2014 so that the surroundings can be rated as high as the care given at this practice.

The receptionists are very helpful and always suggest an alternative if you cannot get an appointment that you want. The system of having to phone at 8 o'clock in the morning to get an appointment is very frustrating and you usually have to phone for several days running until you can get one. If you try to book an appointment in advance, they only do appointments several weeks in advance and it would be helpful if you could book appointments days in advance instead. There have been one or two occasions where changes in prescriptions have resulted in a mix-up, where no one could tell me where the prescription was - at the surgery or the chemist. This involved a lot of phone-calls and visits to the chemist on my part until it was resolved. But the staff always do their best to solve any problems and they always seem very happy and cheerful!

Attended Surgery to have my annual influenza vaccination and also offered and accepted one off pneumonia jab. All went very well with no adverse effects. Arrived at the surgery 20 minutes before my appointment and was booked in and had my vaccinations immediately which meant no waiting which was really excellent. Altogether, a pleasant and hassle free experience!

Today my wife and I attended the surgery for "flu jabs". The appointments were running to time and all the staff were pleasant cheerful and efficient. They provided a thoroughly professional service.
