I had a highly disappointing experience with the head of surgery. Not only was he incredibly rude, but he also made a misdiagnosis, leaving me feeling extremely frustrated and anxious. During our interaction, he raised his voice, which was completely unprofessional and unsettling. I would strongly advise against seeking medical care from this practise, as his demeanor and diagnostic skills were shocking.

A thorough investigation and a correct diagnoses.

Penrhyn surgery is one of the best in London, the doctors are brilliant, very knowledgeable, understanding and friendly. The staff are also very, nice, helpful and friendly. The surgery environment is always clean, tidy and smell good.

Reception staff are polite and efficient and you really feel that the doctors care. It’s my first experience of seeing a doctor greet patients in the waiting room or take time to talk to babies . I have been referred by my doctor for a chronic condition and after surgery I was delighted to be told by the consultant that I AM CURED of my condition. I feel as if I’m in good hands at this surgery. I like how I can pop in to check up on my weight , BP and BMI and although I was initially annoyed at being flagged up as obese even though I’m just 5 kg over my desired weight, , I have since considered how lucky I am to be put on to a weight management programme and to have the opportunity to nip future problems in the bud. Preventative care has to be the way forward .

During and for a while after Covid like every other surgery it was not so easy to see a doctor. This seemed to have been a national issue as friends everywhere had similar problems. Obviously changing to online appointments is the way to go but this is going to be a process over many years as not everyone has access to the internet or can use it . It’s good that the telephone appointment system is still going . That must always be an option.

Doctors are very nice and friendly as to are the nurses Reception staff that have been there for over 10 years are helpful and professional much better than my last surgery on Highams hill road Thank you Penrhyn Surgery

The reception staff are very helpful and polite. The My GP app has improved booking appointments in advance. The nurses have both been really professional and caring with great follow up when I came out of hospital. The doctors vary in quality and care.
