Although the contact with the practice is much better than it was , it still takes far too long to get through for an appointment. Another line might help The doctors are all very nice and very professional as well as being personally involved. A little longer than 10 minutes would be helpful as some of us have various issues we would like to discuss and there is never enough time for all of them, so you end up missing out important details so that the poor doctor doesn't lag behind with the next patient.

Everyone at the surgery is lovely - even the receptionists (who so often get bad press!). It is always possible to get a consultation with one of the doctors the same day, even if it is just by telephone: if the doctor then feels you need to be seen a personal appointment will be offered. There is a good mix of male and female GPs and an excellent nursing team. I have been with the surgery for almost 25 years now, and their entire focus is on the patient, and they have frequently given me the confidence I have lacked with regard to bringing up my children. Many of my friends are jealous of the excellent service offered!

I have been a patient at Parkside for over 30 years. I have always been very happy about the service they give and the doctors that I have seen over the years. The only critism I have is they only offer 1 hour to phone up for test results. I actually work at a different doctors surgery and I work in the results department. My department is open for test results from 10.00 am - 4.30 pm. So this is the only thing that lets down Parkside from my point of view.
