Today I was able to speak to someone quite quickly and get an appointment quickly too. This was great service and very much appreciated. Usually it can take a long time to speak to someone because the queue of callers is so long but I am normally seen the same day. I’m not sure if you have not already done this but I feel there should be a designated line for appointments only.
I fell fowl of the new 6 x press button service with an Americanism of 3 words instead of Reception, there is no queuing number countdown and ear worm pinging music, on number 6 I waited 10 minutes and hung up and went to Button 1 (Appointments) where I waited 5 minutes but finally was answered from there on the receptionist could not be more helpful and offerd me a face to face with Doctor Target or if I preferred a GP I mentioned but not today as not on board.
Excellent practice and phoning for an appointment has much improved. Also like the communication by text.
Easy to use
I have always found Nunwell Surgery Reception Staff, Doctors and Nurses to be helpful, polite and professional, even during the height of the Covid epidemic. Booked Call-backs were always forthcoming with the minimum of delays and appointments requested at the surgery were usually available within 2 to 3 days.
