Sometimes impossible to get through on the phone. Difficult to get an appointment. Last three times I have needed help I have given up and gone to the walk in clinic in Hastings. That is not easy or cheap as a retired non driver. I don't blame the surgery just the current system and shortage of funds.

I cannot fault this surgery. From reception to nurses to GP - a surgery to recommend, to have faith in and feel secure that my best interests are being taken seriously and with respect. Thank you!

I have always found the Doctors and staff at Old Town Surgery in Bexhill to be very courteous and helpful. There has been the odd time that I have had to make an urgent appointment and have been surprised that I have been accommodated within a day or two. This is a very busy practice and in my opinon they do an excellent job.

I was disappointed that there is no baby changing facilities. Also, it is difficult to get a prescription repeat (has to be via fax or in writing, you cannot do it via phone or email) and often you cannot make an appointment ahead of time, but have to ring on the day at 8am in the hope they can fit you in that same day. Maybe they have too many patients. The reception staff are quite nice.

My GP is Dr. Bhaskaran. I have found him to be an excellent doctor. He listens carefully to my problems and is always very clear in his advice. Regarding the practice in general. My experience with Reception staff, nurses and HCAs is that they have always been most professional and helpful. On one occasion when I needed advice by telephone, Dr. Bhaskaran was not available but another GP phoned back with the advice I needed. Thank you to everyone at the practice.
