The last two times I visited this GP I was seen by Allison the Nurse Practitioner, she was absolutely amazing . Caring, fast, efficient and very helpful . I wish all the times I had gone there in the past I had been seen by her . Definitely recommend her! If you ever read this, thank you for the bottom of my heart for looking after me, you're great at your job but you're also a great human being.

I would like to comment on the website. I find re-ordering my prescription a total nightmare. Of all the Holdenhurst Road Surgery sites on display, I have to trawl through all of them before I finally find where to order and then I usually stumble on it by accident. I just wonder if the people who designed the site ever thought to get a member of the public, someone who has to actually use it, to successfully perform a request? My guess is, they did not.

Repeat prescriptions online are a joke , I applied for mine on the 14th of the month , and still not been sent through to my chemist 10 days later. Third time I've had to chase them up.

I have just called the surgery total minutes on my mobile almost four. I finally got through to reception and the lady cut me off, so I called again and she done the same thing, maybe she is in the wrong job. But I will be speaking with my doctor later on today, i treat people the way they treat me Karen

The reception area of this surgery is filthy and badly laid out in a way that everyone within the waiting area can hear what's being discussed with the reception staff. The newer reception staff are very helpful and friendly, however there are two ladies who have been there for a while who could certainly do with some lessons in customer service and basic courtesy. The medical staff - most of them - are excellent. However, trying to get an appointment within an acceptable time limit is a different matter - I had to wait a whole month for an appointment with a doctor of my choice! All in all it's not a bad surgery, but there is certainly room for some considerable improvements.
