I was given a telephone appointment that day and the Dr was extremely helpful. She listened to everything I was saying and offered help and support.

I love my GP surgery. I have always loathed going to the doctor but since being diagnosed with cancer last year at 27 years old I have had to go there frequently for help with managing my side effects. The Gp is always really sympathetic and compassionate, trying to find he best solution for my problems. I always feel listened to and like my worries, problems and opinions matter. This feels so important to me as I am obviously very anxious about the path my life has taken. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else for my care.

When you can get to see your GP the care is good. Unfortunately this is very difficult. Have been in constant pain for weeks and fairly immobile. After a telephone appointment I was told to come in immediately. I was examined and bloods taken. Was told to ring next day. Next day results were in but dr. had not seen them. Told to ring next day. Did so and was told the results needed to be discussed but my GP was not available for 10 days. I could speak on the phone to a different GP in 5 days. I am both frustrated and in pain.

I have always had amazing service from this GP. the Doctors/Nurses that i have seen over my years of being with Greystone House (since i was born) i have always had fantastic services. From the quick response time of the on duty doctor in emergency situations to the flexibility of the Doctors to be able to see me around my schedule. This is one of the best Surgery's in the country and i am so glad to be registered here.

I would like to say a big thank you to Nurse Sophie who did my cervical smear test on Monday 9th October. After over thirty years of traumatic experiences due to anxiety about the procedure which I have always found so painful, Nurse Sophie took the time ( and it only took a few minutes) to actually locate the cervix first, the test was over in a couple of minutes. If only someone had done this before! I avoided screening for over ten years at one stage because of bad experiences. This is a life saving procedure, and I am so grateful to her.
