I would like to say a big thank you to Nurse Sophie who did my cervical smear test on Monday 9th October. After over thirty years of traumatic experiences due to anxiety about the procedure which I have always found so painful, Nurse Sophie took the time ( and it only took a few minutes) to actually locate the cervix first, the test was over in a couple of minutes.
If only someone had done this before!
I avoided screening for over ten years at one stage because of bad experiences. This is a life saving procedure, and I am so grateful to her.
