I had to wait around 3 weeks for an appointment, but the GP was gentle when carrying out a difficult yet necessary procedure. They had good knowledge about what symptoms could mean and about how to refer. I received a referral letter within hours.
Dr. Makhdumi was incredibly unhelpful. She refused to listen to any of the concerns I had and ignored all of my symptoms that I came there to address, instead telling me not to worry and telling me my time was up after just over 4 minutes despite us not having discussed anything productive. She also constantly talked in a patronising voice that I found very demeaning.
I was send to Greystones surgery from my surgery at Wallhouse
I was very impressed with the care and attention l received..This is my 3rd visit to the GP in regards to this complaint..The lady Doctor l saw she was so through instead of writing out a prescription she checked me over
If you need to see a doctor you have first to tell the receptionist what is wrong with you, which can be very embarrassing. She then passes the message to one of the doctors who then decides whether you need an appointment. This is not good enough, ill people need to see a doctor not just receive a phone call. My husband recently had a mild stroke and Grteystone were no help at all, after three telephone calls and a letter explaining things, he eventually got an appointment to see a doctor to follow up with the medication prescribed by the hospital. Are all doctors like this now-a-days?
