Getting an appointment is very difficult unless you are an emergency. The option of a telephone conversation with a doctor would help the situation and free up appointment slots for people who need a face to face consultation. There appear to be no 'well man' or 'well woman' clinics which are useful for screening for diabetes, high blood pressure, prostate cancer etc. There appears to be no long term follow up review of medications

A good surgery although until recently I have found the reception staff a bit aloof, but has improved recently.

-learn how to book appropriate appointments -learn how to not waste people's time -do not tell a patient nothing is wrong with them before even doing the checks another doctor has told them to get from you -do not refuse to see someone when they have travelled because you don't have enough time -do not keep patients waiting an hour over their appointment time

I realise the making up of prescriptions is not in your remit but the courtesy & efficiency from the local chemist is abysmal

Usually the receptionsits are very helpful. I appreciate being able to see my own doctor the majority of the time. The practice runs very efficiently abd is caring.
