Impossible to get a GP appointment. Having waited for over half an hour to speak with receptionist (30th March), I was told no telephone conversations with a GP available until May!!! Strange that other surgeries eg. Loxwood are working normally? Am now on wrong medication, which I shall stop taking, because I can't get near a qualified medical to redress the issue.

Suggested improvements
Sort out the issues regarding meeting/speaking to a GP.

I am now registered with another surgery thankfully. I just could t take the incompetence any longer at Courtyard. The receptionists are rude and unhelpful, I just don’t trust the GP’s diagnosis and that has happened on more than one occasion with different doctors. Their administration is appalling and antiquated and m feel like a complete inconvenience whenever you contact them. The only exception to this is the medical Secretary who is very helpful. My experience of the nurse there has been less than favourable and I am so pleased never to have to set foot in the surgery or have anything to do with them ever again!

Really helpful reception staff and eager to arrange appointments. May not be same day but gave clear options which made arranging an appointment easy Good and clear advice from Dr Greenwood which instilled confidence in the situation. A good calm and confident attitude. Helpful advice on blood tests and follow up steps

the telephone answering system is somewhat lengthy, and prescriptions can take a little longer than I would expect to reach the North Heath pharmacy. Apart from that I have found the surgery a very helpful team, at every level.

The prescription service is a complete shambles and I cannot believe that these are properly checked by anyone. My elderly Mother has repeat prescriptions every month. Without fail there is ALWAYS something missing involving me taking time to resolve with the local Boots pharmacy. The practice policy of not accepting requests by phone is not customer focused or friendly. The excuse used of preventing errors is patently absurd given they never manage to get this right anyway. It is not clear to me that the messaging email address quoted on text messages I get on behalf of my mother is able to accept replies. It goes without saying that when I have sent an email no reply is ever received. Having written a comp!ain't letter in the past in similar vein and having received a reply letter essentially saying nothing, I do not think I would bother with the in house complaints procedure.
