I have been really ill with my depression and anxiety for a whole week, I couldn't get for a appointment I got in today Friday the 14th at 17.00 I saw a doctor Barber I feel I need to take this further because of his attitude and it was a very humiliating situation where he didn't listen to me and literallly told me he can do no more for me. I've been ill with this since I wa in my 30s and I'm quite ashamed of myself that I have attempted suicide around 7 times with a history of self harm . I am mortified that a doctor could treat me this bad , he didn't even give me my medication and was left crying in the reception area. I had to continue to sit in the reception for another 30 minutes feeling inside my head , confusion , rejection and totally humiliated I have come to him for help and he said he can not help me any more. I'm writing this because if I had been totally in my bad place at that time I would have gone home and God knows what would have happened. I am going to take this higher because if another patient came in to see him suffering also mental Health and this unacceptable attitude was displayed I dread to think what would have happened .. mental health is real and it is. Real illness not one someone makes up .

appointment made one week ago to see dr lapa for knee injections at 3.20 the doctor was not even there iasked where he was told out of surgery was not offered to see another doctor was told to come back in a weeks time not happy with this service at all roy burgess

Booking of appointments is absolutely ridiculous - you have to know when you are going to be ill to get an appointment, if you phone on a Monday morning all appointments have gone for the week if you want to see a particular doctor and have to wait another week to be seen. Booking of afternoon appointments is no better, you call at say 1.40 pm to be told all appointments have gone - bearing in mind you can only book these after 1.30 pm. Unacceptable ! This GP practice does not offer any late evening appointments or is not open even on a Saturday. If they cannot offer enough appointments they need to recruit more GP's and more practice nurses to ensure that they can offer and fulfill a better service. The receptionists are not always very friendly when answering the phone and are quite sharp and do not try to help you, not very helpful ! Lastly do not need the radio on in the surgery people are unwell and do not go there to listen to music! Hope these comments are taken on board.

The doctors seem very uninterested. They lack bedside manner and don't seem to engage in conversation. They also disagree with each other in diognosis. I am currently suffering dizzy spells and headaches as well as what i was told was a bacterial infection. Then I was told it was fungul. Then I had a doctor tell me my ears were blocked and when I went to get them cleaned, they were empty and the nurse couldn't clean them. It is extremely hard to make an appointment. I was told to book an appointment for my ears in 2 weeks time. There was no space for 4 weeks. My GP is never in and it means I have to see lots of different doctors who all have different opinions.
