I have been a patient for over 12 years, during this time I have never been disappointed with the patient care, help or advice advice given to me at Catshill. Whenever it was felt appropriate to refer me to a specialist clinic this was done, I have been grateful for the follow-up and reassurance from my doctor. Medical and Admin staff have always been professisonal and courteous, despite sometimes being under a great deal of pressure. An excellent examle of a patient-focused service. I have never felt that I was a number, or inconsequential. I have been treated as a person which is wonderful given that mosr of the time older people become 'invisible' particularly when shopping! We live in a Welfare State and unfortunately the majority of us have become complacent about our Health and Social Services and take these for granted. We have lost the ability to praise, say 'thank-you' and to fully appreciate how Welfare Services take care of our Health and Wellbeing., not just for one day, one year, one decade, but for over 70 years. Perhaps the Practice can gently nudge us in the right direction and tell us ways we can be more suppo0rtive and help to lighten the load a little. Sing your own praises more often, let us know your successes and achevements.
