I was asked to make an appointment to discuss the results of a blood test. I chose a remote appointment. The doctor highlighted a marginally high cholesterol count and recommended I take statins.
I had an appointment for Blood test, I was late 8 minutes and receptionist said Nurse said she can’t see me as Nurse put me as not attended and she even not tried to ask Nurse if she can get my blood test or she can fit me between the appointments. When you call people and waiting for you for 5 minutes it’s not a problem but it’s a problem when I was late for only for 8 minutes? everything changed there is no kindness abs caring at Surgery environment it’s important to have great customer service and show people that! Not even try it’s hard to make an appointment with you as it’s is anyway the customer service need to prove and you need to have more sympathetic people in your team
Took a week to get through to talk to a receptionist on the phone. There were always over 30 in the queue when I rang so I gave up until. I was lucky one day. Receptionist was very helpful in getting the appointments I needed. At appointment the blood pressure equipment the nurse used did not function properly & I had to use the machine in the waiting room.
Can’t get through on the phone. Booking a Drs appointment is nearly impossible
Most of my experience was by text. I don't have a Smart phone and had to ask a friend to help. This is true of a large portion of your elderly patients. An email would have been more detailed and personal.
