Contact with the surgery is very difficult as the staff are over stretched

I was taken very I’ll on the Sunday following my jab. I recovered a little by Monday. I contacted Billingshurst surgery and was told by the receptionist that there were no appointments available I emphasised how ill I was and that I really needed to at least speak to doctor. Told that I couldn’t but if I rang 111 they had 7 appointments at Billingshurst they could release. I rang 111 and explained the problem and they told me that they had no appointments and that I should ring my surgery!!

Always find all staff go above and beyond. Booked in for covid and flu vaccine. Initially told by reception no appointments unavailable and directed to where I could get a jab. Receptionist then called me back to say Surgery was infact running an extra session and would I like to book. Was given Covid jab at Surgery but told by nurse I was not yet eligible for flu jab. Told me to book in with reception for when I was eligible, to which I did. All done in a efficient, simple and friendly manner. Many Thanks Billingshurst Surgery. Always great.

Getting an appointment is very difficult on the phone or using the app, so had to resort to queuing outside the surgery with about 10 other patients at 08:00!

The covid/flu jab arrangements very good. The covid jab was unusually uncomfortable!

The arrangements for the vaccinations were very good BUT your service as a surgery to provide appointments with a doctor is very poor. After over 40 years as a registered patient this is concerning. I'm 78 years old and may need immediate face to face consultancy, these are impossible to arrange. Telephoned response is slow, although you are doing your best.
