I had problem with my meds which was stolen from mybad now being weekend I struggled on . On visiting I explain to reception and I was told fill in repeat prescription and wait for it be at chemist into 5 days . I tried explain I needed them as I have them for exteam pain and mental health problem so also take them for depression. Already go 4 days with out . Yet no help . Now I have wait and is currently unable get out bed due to pain and low mood and still have wait 5 days no help even when situation was explained. ....

Hello there, I am sorry to hear that your medication was stolen, this certainly is unfortunate. You may be interested to hear that for some medications your Pharmacy may be able to offer you an emergency supply over the weekend. You can also contact NHS 111 in these circumstances, who may also be able to help you obtain emergency medication so that you are not left in short supply. We always encourage our patients to use their Systm Online accounts for medication requests which are needed urgently. This helps to speed up the process to order repeat medication, in that your request is dealt with electronically - which cuts out a lot of the administration work involved in raising a repeat medication prescription from a paper based request. You can also see where it is in the system through using your Systm Online account and can let us know via a message to the team if you need us to hurry things along. We try as much as possible to assist patients and reduce any shortage in medication and I am disappointed to hear that this was not your experience on this occasion. Excellent practice indeed. All the doctors and staff seem very efficient, friendly and caring. The online access takes a little getting used to, but works well. However you do need to be computer literate. Appointments can now take a little longer than they used to. However urgent ones are rightfully treated with priority. All in all an excellent medical centre.

I had a text to say there was a cancellation so would I like to come in today which was great service. I had to wait 30 minutes to see the doctor-not so great. Maybe this cancelled appointment could have been used for the doctor to be able to catch up.

I've been a patient at this surgery for over 12 years. The staff are welcoming, the surgery is well maintained. And the GP's very professional and efficient. Like all surgeries it's not always easy getting an appointment but they try their best to accommodate you. My only concern would be for the future of an ever growing community how will all surgeries cope with patient numbers? I hope this is already being considered....
