This is a review for Dr J Mack. I have been unable to locate her on this system but I understand she may be on maternity leave. She was totally brilliant. she really did appear to care and was highly professional. She appeared to be the only one other than myself who knew something was wrong after a gallbladder operation. she clearly demonstrated a high level skill and the correct application of training. Equally she clearly displayed that the training she had received works. On the other hand It's a shame that Oxford Jr hospital SEU department let her down. The SEU at the JR hosp had performed the gallbladder procedure and the Oxford JR Hosp failed to listen and take on her concerns. As a result failed her and badly let her down. As a result I was forced to seek a second opinion from the Manchester Royal who after one 10 min meeting and one test ( CT ) informed me that I had crohns. This could have been picked up sooner if someone at the JR hospital had listened to Doctor J Mack. Doctor Mack has my highest regards. She is a great example of how GP doctors should be. She would be a Great role model.

My daughter phoned the Practice and asked for a telephone consultation. The receptionist told her a doctor would call her at 11.30 am. At that time the doctor called my daughter. They had a discussion. The doctor told her she would issue a prescription which she could collect from Pharmacy later that day. What excellent service. My son-in-law phoned his Surgery in Surrey and heard a recorded message telling him his call would be answered in 30 minutes. If it was an emergency he could press one. My family has had superb, efficient service from this Practice. We are delighted with it.

Extremely helpful and professional receptionists. Excellent doctors. Realistic length appointment times. Attached pharmacy. Good parking facilities. One gets the sense of a great team, working extremely efficiently together and committed to making improvements. The whole approach feels patient-centred, practical and compassionate. All in all, a great service!

The receptionist, Jackie is excellent at her job. She is very helpful and understanding. She has a perfect personality for the job. Everyone at Berinsfield Health Centre is totally committed to helping patients, and do so in a very thoughtful way.
