From my initial telephone call when I spoke to the receptionist who was really friendly and helpful and my face to face appointment with the doctor who was also very friendly, welcoming and professional. I have had a great experience at this practice. I am so glad to have been placed with Bennochy Medical Centre having just moved into the area.

As far as I can see nothing is needed to improve this great practice.

Booked an appointment for 3:30, when I got there they said it was 3:40. This would've been fine but I wasn't called in until over an hour later. Not only that but I'd booked this appointment for a breast examination due to cancer worries which the receptionist knew and was given a male doctor. Avoid at all costs.

The doctors get to know you personally your not just another ill person . They take this to a new level of care in which the gp called to see how I was getting on . You aren’t made to feel stupid the nurses are so nice it’s not rushed they listen to what your saying and consult with the legends the top gps in practice if need to .

Cannot credit the negative reviews!!. Moved to Kirkcaldy on retirement 13 months ago and cannot believe the service, care, attention and professionalism displayed at Bennochy and all delivered with a smile.....have had numerous health issue which can be embarrassing at a new practice but not once have I been made to feel I am a nuisance......twice have needed emergency appointment and got it within two hours...yes a longer wait for non urgent health issues but not been longer than two weeks and unless one is about to expire then not too long to wait.....have lots of relations down south who wait four to six weeks for an appointment.....all in all a gold star service..thank you

May I suggest some of the doctors in this surgery go on a listening and communication skills refresher course? GPs are generalists and not specialists - so to claim to be an “expert” and summarily dismiss what the patient is attempting to convey based on their own research (robust and reliable information is readily available online) is an arrogant and outdated response. Why not work together instead of putting up a barrier under the guise of claiming “expert” status? This used to be such a caring, people orientated surgery - hope they don’t lose sight of this.
