In all my recent contact with the surgery I have been very disappointed. They failed to issue prescriptions in time for my Mum, who has the boxed prescriptions.This was because she needed a review,and the pharmacist they sent didn’t come until the last day. This resulted in the serious situation of my mother not having some important medication for a week after which it suddenly reappeared in her boxes. No one in the surgery was interested. They did not accept that there is a lag period with boxed medication. 2 months later it happened again when a tablet had not been issued and then suddenly reappeared...another major sedative. None of the staff seem to understand or be interested to understand how the boxed system works
