Simply the most friendly and efficient practice I have experienced. All the staff, from the receptionists to the nurses and the GPs, make you feel totally at home and relaxed and you feel you are listened to into the bargain. Medication requests are dealt with immediately. A five star practice.

I have 100% confidence that I am being treated with the utmost care and consideration and that any fears I have are always explored and I leave the surgery feeling reassured. Repeat prescriptions are always dealt with in an efficient and timely manner. I have already recommended this surgery to family and friends who have subsequently joined and are more than happy with their care. Absolutely top rate!

I have been a patient there for a very long time. My experience has been extremely positive. So much so that the only constructive comment I can think of is that the waiting room areas seem overheated to me. However, the ambient temperature is probably ideal for the majority of the patients. I tend to feel uncomfortable in hot environments.

This is the best practice I have ever dealt with. The doctors treat you with kindness and a sense that you are an agentic partner in the decisions. They are strikingly intelligent and well-informed, and work very hard under considerable pressure. The receptionists are kind, thoughtful and very efficient. There are many patients whose first language is not English and other patients who might pose problems, and I have seen that they handle them with tact, clarity and gentle kindness.

I have been a patient of the Beaumont Street surgery for over 22 years. Throughout this time I have been treated with sympathy and respect. As a former nurse I know doctors are sometimes apprehensive about treating with fellow professionals, but I have found all the doctors I have seen ready to discuss with me my various reasons for seeking their help, and I have found their practical advice and support excellent. The receptionists are always ready to help and do their best to fit in an appointment at a convenient time, even though the practice is getting increasingly busy. They are not like the receptionists I have heard of in some practices who seem to think it is their business to prevent the patient from seeing a doctor, and who ask for details which are not their concern. Though I have not had to see the practice nurses very often, when I have they have been friendly and efficient and inspired confidence. I do not think there can be many better GP practices than 27 Beaumont Street.
