I have been a patient of the Beaumont Street surgery for over 22 years. Throughout this time I have been treated with sympathy and respect. As a former nurse I know doctors are sometimes apprehensive about treating with fellow professionals, but I have found all the doctors I have seen ready to discuss with me my various reasons for seeking their help, and I have found their practical advice and support excellent.
The receptionists are always ready to help and do their best to fit in an appointment at a convenient time, even though the practice is getting increasingly busy. They are not like the receptionists I have heard of in some practices who seem to think it is their business to prevent the patient from seeing a doctor, and who ask for details which are not their concern.
Though I have not had to see the practice nurses very often, when I have they have been friendly and efficient and inspired confidence.
I do not think there can be many better GP practices than 27 Beaumont Street.
