Outstanding consult with Dr. Nikita. She was clear, very communicative, thorough and highly professional. Reception excellent. Engaging, warm, professional, very efficient.

I have been with Amwell Practice since I was a kid and honestly, the service is awful and keeps getting worse. Extremely unhelpful receptionists, if you are lucky enough to get past them, the odds of getting a good doctor are 50/50. I understand the NHS is stretched but if you are dealing with people, especially in need of help so there is still a level of personable service needed.

Suggested improvements
Useful receptionists. Being able to pre book appointments like the doctor asked and advertised on their website. Treat people like people with respect. You'd expect better customer service in any shop so why can they treat patients (people in need) the way they do. This doesn't apply to all doctors there, just some and the receptionists.

Great service, I’ve booked online and managed to get the vaccines even if I was a bit late.

I remember having a bad vitamin D deficiency last year after some blood tests, and no one followed up on that. Getting a bit more on the prevention side would not create any harm, and might result in healthier patients and less overall costs for the NHS - if anyone really cares about that. More doctors for urgent appointments, because seeing a GP might take far too long time someone. Yearly routine checks works be great. Maybe for the reception desk to have a glass that the receptionist could get a bit of privacy in their phone calls with the patients and not being too exposed?
