Several medical reports following either hospital visits, or telephone appointments have been sent to the surgery , at least 4 of which requested medication changes this has been over a period of 2 months. NO ACTION WHATSOEVER HAS TAKEN PLACE.
Communication is non existent , questions have been asked of the reception staff both in person and on the telephone, promises of telephone calls and explanations were never respond to.
There is no empathy with patients and since changes due to covid have taken place things have got even worse., and our experience with some of the staff is very worrying.
We appreciate that covid changed many things but it should not be an excuse for being unhelpful and rude.
Having on seen the doctor once in 10months ,These comments refer specifically to the back up staff.
They need to come up with a different appointment system because the current one is not serving patients. Suggesting people should show up at the surgery to book an appointment is not practical for patients with disabilities or mental health conditions such as anxiety disorder.
You can’t get an appointment, 200 calls on average to get through. They ask you to turn up at 8 to be seen and then they have no appointments till 10...
The greatest difficulty with this surgery is in getting an appointment. You either have to ring on the day that you intend to visit or you can make an appointment for a fortnight's time - but it is a fortnight exactly, so you would ring on Monday the 1st to make an appointment for Monday the 15th. The problem is that you can ring for more than an hour and get no answer - and then when you do get an answer, you are told that all of the appointments are gone. And then the receptionist simply suggests that you go through the whole thing again the next day. God help anyone with any kind of serious complaint because you'll be dead before they see you. Hopeless.
