There is a history of colon cancer in my family, so I was recommended to Dr Kulkarni for genetic testing by Professor Arkenau. The thought of telling my son or siblings that they may have an inherited rogue gene was not a pleasant thought. My experience with Dr Kulkarni was easy and calming, she was very kind and thoughtful and reassuring in dealing with my medical investigations. I felt my case was dealt with very thoroughly and with compassion.

Dr. Kulkarni has a very gentle approach and provided excellent guidance and explanations. She was very comforting and supportive and her way to simply a complicated topic was very helpful.

Having three independent cancers(prostate, sacral chordoma and pancreatic and a family history of lung and ovarian cancer) I was very keen to learn about genetic testing and its implications for my children, grandchildren etc . I thought that Dr Kulkarni was outstanding. She was caring, empathetic, patient and professional explaining everything about genetic testing in language that I could understand and the implications of a range of possible results. She answered all my questions with sensitivity and great clarity.

After losing 3 family members to cancer and having breast cancer myself I decided that I needed to talk to someone about genetic testing. I was impressed at how easy it was and how professional everyone involved was. I have recommended this process to other people. As I think that the peace of mind it gives you is important. I would highly recommend this doctor as she was knowledgeable and really friendly. She made the whole process easy.

There is a history of prostate cancer in my family, so I was recommended to Dr Kulkarni for genetic testing. Having to tell my three sons that they may have inherited an errant gene was not something I was looking forward to doing. Dr Kulkarni was very kind and thoughtful, totally clear in the work being done and extremely helpful in preparing me to deliver awful news. As it happened the testing proved that I didn't have to do it after all. But because of her guidance and clear explanations I was ready. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
