Great caring professional staff - met all my needs within my time frame
First, I would like to say that doctors and professors Physio, they are world-class perfect.
However, the nurses are good, but there is a minority of bad nurses. As soon as I changed rooms, I was treated very badly, like I were a waste of time. The nurses keep saying we're busy. With other patients. To me, this is wrong because I am very sick, I need medical care.
These nurses need to learn empathy.
I've cashed out my pensions, my army pension, and my teaching pension to pay for this medical procedure because it's so expensive, but if I do not, then I'll end up in a wheelchair. My first choice was Russia. However, my time ran out; you've only got 10 years before nobody would do anything.
I suffered when I went to the I went to the other room. And when I was refused medication because I had an asthma attack because of the reaction of the medication and I was told no I can't have any medicine that time I had to call my mother who is a senior citizen who lives quite far away from the hospital she has to come in the middle of the night and give me asthma pump that's not good. Some of the nurses were amazing, but the others were not good. They got to learned compassion and respect. The hospital was very dirty. I've got this on camera. I made a video, I filmed everyone on my phone, you can see much more video on YouTube, sarbjit Terry singh Road to Recovery. And then afterwards, when the doctor looked at my blood results, he could tell that it was a virus that I believe I caught from the London Bridge Hospital. Then after I was admitted to A&E intensive care for 2 weeks, I barely survived.
I think there should be individual nurses just for one patient because they're transferring viruses from patient to patient, and when you have your new system wiped and reset, then it is very dangerous. Overall, at least the transplant was done correctly, and hopefully I won't be in a wheelchair.
They should not volunteers qualified people
The hospital even had a cheek to offer me £150 for compensation
seriously after I spend thousands
The staff coming in with coughs and colds at reception disgusting it was one particular person That refused to help me to my taxi when leaving when I was in a wheelchair no respect can't believe I served for this country!
Very good.
If you are going to get sick / need surgery I cannot recommend London Bridge Hospital highly enough - I came in for a total hip replacement.
All the staff are amazing, kind, caring and totally professional. The hospital (nearly wrote hotel because that is how it feels) is spotlessly clean and the catering is top notch with an excellent selection to chose from as well as a 'Menu of the Day'. Honestly can't fault the hospital in any way. Highly highly recommend.
I saw a doctor located within this facility.
A well equipped, well run location.
In the last 2 months I have been admitted at the London Bridge Hospital for 2 breast cancer operations. I though the hospital is an excellent hospital, very well managed, clean and safe. It has some of the best consultants and doctors and their nurses are very well trained and caring. I felt very well looked there. The nurses were excellent especially Sahar and Eliza and the whole team in theatre was excellent.
The hospital is comfortable. It’s worth requesting a river view room as that can really help pass time and if you have a longer stay it’s vital to see some blue sky. My first visit I had that luxury but the second visit I didn’t and I really missed it!
The staff are approachable, kind and hard working. Nothing was too much trouble. Being a patient from A distance away I didn’t have visitors and so they always made the extra effort to engage and have a chat which was much appreciated.
The TV is poor so don’t rely on that! But otherwise I can’t fault it.
The facilities, care and staff are excellent. My only slight criticisms relate to hospital administration, which could perhaps be improved.
Firstly, London Bridge Hospital is spread out over several buildings in the area. It was not always made completely clear to me which building I should turn up at. Thankfully, each building is well staffed at reception and they will tell you where you need to go.
Secondly, I did have an appointment for a scan that was incorrectly booked by the hospital and had to be sorted out. This was fairly easy (one email) but you don't really want to be doing admin the day after surgery !
Great staff from reception to nursing aftercare
Friendly and attentive staff prior to and during the procedure, but took a while for staff to complete discharge.
