This is my feedback regarding Mr.Mohammed Hanief. I attended the Parapet Breast Clinic in King Edward v11 hospital Windsor due to a lump in my breast and he was holding a clinic there. Mr. Hanief was very prompt, kind and attentive and ensured that I moved on to further investigations which confirmed his initial diagnosis of breast cancer. On follow up once the results of further tests were available he was very kind, knowing I must be frightened. He explained what would happen and he kindly allowed my husband to join the consultatiion.. He performed the mastectomy operation at Wexham Park Hospital on the third of April . He knew we would have preferred to have it done at Heatherwood Hospital because it is near home and he tried to assist us but it wasn't possible. That must have taken up some of his own time and was very much appreciated. He even took the time to invite me back to the Parapet after a couple of days to relieve me of the drain inserted after the mastectomy because it was no longer needed. His after care was excellent and he explained it all very well. He is a kind and thoughtful doctor and I consider I was very fortunate to have been in his care. Yours sincerely Christine Lester

From the start of my journey staff at the Parapet have been most helpful and understanding. However the care I received from Mr Hanief was exceptional. He outlined my care in simple compassionate terms, he gave me the confidence to know that whatever the outcome I would receive the best care possible. I am so grateful for his manner and his professional skill. I look forward to my future thanks to him.

My breast cancer diagnosis was confirmed at the Parapet in King Edward V11 Hospital in Windsor where Mr Hanief also works for the NHS. I then opted to be treated by him privately at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor where ha performed a bi-lateral mastectomy last December. His surgical skills are beyond question but what sets him apart is his care and treatment of people whether patients or staff. He is compassionate, kind and empathetic, totally professional and a good listener. His philosophy was to treat his patients as he would want members of his family to be treated. Mr Hanief even rang me on Boxing Day to see how I was doing. The team of breast care nurses, Fiona ( who I saw most ), Jane and Kate were also first rate with a passion for their work and a mission to make the journey as smooth as possible. Over the past months I have come to realise just how outstanding he and the team were and would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Hanief to anybody unfortunate enough to need his skills. Mr.Hanief is one of the best consultants I have encountered (and sadly I have seen a few!). He listens to you and reassures you at every step. He is very easy to discuss your situation with and has an easy sense of humour. Three members of my family have dealt with him and we all feel the same. The day after the operation he telephoned me at home to see how I was and to discuss further the operation and to reassure me. I have never experienced this before and I felt confident in my care. Highly recommended.

Mr Hanief recently operated on my left breast to remove cancer cells. He was extremely helpful and kind in explaining the situation and what would happen, as a result I feel positive about the future. The team was also very understanding and helpful Kind Regards Maggie Jans ( Margaret)
