As a patient who has been treated for a complex dense cataract I am so overjoyed with the results, I was treated with care and understanding at all times and given reassurance, I had been quite depressed and he has given me back quality of life and confidence I had been missing. Thank you so much!!!

I had my second cataract operation at the Royal Surrey Eye Unit. The surgeon was very kind, helped me to feel relaxed and kept me informed throughout the procedure. He is gentle and friendly and also gives you a sense of confidence because he is thorough and extremely careful. I had my previous eye surgery at Optegra where I felt a bit like a chicken on a conveyor belt, there was no discussion, no options for anesthetic were offered and no cup of tea. I would recommend The Royal Surrey Eye Unit as being a more caring and my recovery has been far more rapid

This doctor is an absolute Angel he is kind and always interested in what the patient has to say he will go above and beyond to explain what's going to happen I have seen this doctor on a few visit to the eye clinic at the R.S.C.H.and if I could see him on future visits I would not get stressed out he is a diamond to the NHS I really hope he's still at the Royal Surrey for the rest of my days God Bless Dr Vouzounis.

Panos Vouzounis carried out major surgery to my damaged eye lid after an accident ,two hours and many stitches later he sent me home.He is such a kind and gentle person allways greets you with a smile ,how lucky we are to have doctors like him in our N H S many thanks to all at royal surrey .

He is one of the friendliest and most helpful doctors I have ever encountered. He goes out of his way to make each visit to hospital as stress-free and as pleasant as possible. He is always contactable and always willing to help out with any problems I am facing. He is a brilliant advert for the NHS and any patient is lucky to have him as their doctor.
