I've just had an appointment with Mrs Karat, following a diagnosis of capsular contracture of one of my implants. Naturally I was worried and had so many questions. She answered every one and offered so much advice, which was brilliant. She is so friendly and made me feel very relaxed and re-assured. I left the appointment knowing that I am in safe hands, whatever happens next, and I am incredibly grateful to Isabella for that.

Isabella Karat has been caring for me since 2021 when my original reconstruction needed removing. At all stages of my care Isabella has been caring, professional, and supportive. I would not have wished for a better care plan or consultant.
Isabella is a very effective communicator a really good listener.

Mrs Karat was very attentive and listened to my concerns with regards to my post-pregnancy breast issues. I felt very reassured and well looked after during my appointment. At the Royal College of Surgeons, I am Course Director for the Breast Surgery Skills Course, and I am e-tutor to the National MS degree in Oncoplastic Surgery.
My areas of expertise and special interests are in breast cancer, breast reconstruction, benign and congenital breast surgery, family history assessment and cosmetic surgery. I also treat patients with skin lumps and bumps, melanoma and other skin cancers.
