Mr Al-Singary Is a very caring and professional Consultant, he makes you feel very comfortable and he explains in detail anything he discusses with you. You know when he talks to you in a very re-assuring way that you are getting expert advice and treatment. I would have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending him.

While I would say I was not totally prepared for the discomfort that ensured from the procedure, it was not due to lack of explanation by Mr Al-Singary but more in my own belief that I could handle it. The operation itself was painless due to being undersedation but the passing of urine after the catheter was removed proved to be extremely difficult and not pain free! Which required me to use a catheter for a further week, that said and done. I am much better off now that it is done. No more waking up and standing by the loo for 5 minutes before any thing happens, and then waking up completely, now its get up pee and return to bed while still in that state of half asleep and right back to sleep. 100% much better than before! Would I recommend the operation? On reflection the answer is YES the benefits far outweigh the discomfort. Gerarde Jerry Docherty

I recently had a TURP procedure performed by Mr Al Singary and have been very impressed by him and his service, from initial consultation, which involved cystoscopy and diagnosis, all the way through to surgery and queries after surgery. All the way through the process he has been kind, caring, helpful and informative, with any concerns addressed to him through his admin team responded to promptly. Two weeks down the line, with the healing process still in progress, his magic seems to have worked. I have noticed a vast improvement in urination and look forward to things getting even better. Many thanks to him and his team.

Mr Al Singary somehow manages to combine considerable knowledge and professionalism with a friendly approach so that being treated by him is not the embarrassing endurance test I was expecting. He and his colleagues create a relaxed atmosphere and this acts as a reminder that urological investigation is an everyday activity for them. He may have many years of experience in this field, but Mr Al Singary gives the impression that he is genuinely interested in the speciality as well as the person he is treating. As his patient, you sense that he is responding to the whole person rather than just the symptoms.
