Mr ELSAIFY is a very knowledgeable, supportive, professional and caring Consultant. I have had to undergo two surgical procedures in 2023 one major and one minor. During this time he has been very honest and forthcoming about the treatment options and potential results which has helped immensely in our decision making. On both occasions he has taken time out to come and visit me in the ward even though he was on annual leave.
His approach to patient care is very holistic and soothing making sure that complex medical procedures are explained clearly in layman’s terms. This had made what has been an exceptionally difficult time so much easier. I would highly recommend Mr ELSAIFY to anyone seeking treatment.

From the first consultation Mr Elsaify was very open and honest about my care and what my surgery would entail and explained in detail in order for me to understand along with the potential risks. Mr Elsaify was pleasant and had a very good bedside manner and listened when I had questions. I would definitely recommend Mr Elsaify and felt very safe in his care.

Mr Elsaify is the best doctor I have ever had. He is kind and caring, but also professional. As someone who suffers with social anxiety, I was worried about staying in hospital but Mr Elaify made me feel relaxed and I even had a big smile on my face the entire stay.

I saw Mr Elsaify in Endocrine Clinic, Nuffield Tees Hospital after seeing him at James Cook University Hospital with a view to parathyroid surgery.
Mr Elsaify is most informative and has been most thorough in his investigation arranging repeat ultrasounds, CT scan for further evaluation so as to ensure the correct evaluation and steps to take prior to surgical procedure.
He has been very clear all along explaining the procedure and the possible risks and complications.
I found Mr Elsaify to be approachable and willing to answer my questions. He inspires confidence.

Mr Elsaify trained in endocrine and breast surgery at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle- upon -Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He then spent a year as a fellow in endocrine and breast surgery at the Nightingale Centre University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust.
Currently Mr Elsaify runs a wide-ranging general surgery practice in the NHS based at James Cook University Hospital in Middlesborough, where he has been employed as a fully accredited consultant breast, endocrine and general surgeon since 2011. He is also the lead clinician for endocrine surgery
His special interests are in cancer of the breast and thyroid. Mr Elsaify works closely with a team of endocrinologists to offer a multidisciplinary approach to thyroid and parathyroid dysfunction.
Mr Elsaify routinely performs gallbladder removal surgery (laparoscopic cholecystectomy) for gallbladder disease. He also carries out open and keyhole hernia repair surgery and excision of skin lesions, lumps and bumps.
