Sunil Sharma is so impressive-he listens very carefully; asks questions in a way that helps you frame clear and accurate responses; explains his conclusions about your condition; and then says what he proposes to do to treat you, checking as he does so that you understand what will be happening to you. He also looks at you holistically as a patient, checking that you are clear from any other urological conditions. I trust him totally and I really can't think of any suggestions about how he could improve upon his quality of care over the short, medium or long term.

As a result of my prostrate condition I have been extremely fortunate to be under the care of Mr Sharma both at the Peterborough & Stamford hospitals. Without question Mr Sharma and his team have always treated me with great respect, sensitivity and in a caring and professional manner. He is always information and takes the time to listen to any concerns you have about your condition and his approach and response is always reassuring and delivered in an exceptional caring manner, in fact he is a true professional and gentleman. It is clear to see that his approach and care has most defiantly been passed on to all the members of his team and he really does lead by example. A huge thank you Mr Sharma and to all your caring team for the continuing treatment you are providing to me and I am sure to everyone who comes into your department.

I have always found Mr Sharma, cuteous, unpatronising, inclusive and friendly. I am always able to ask him questions which he explain in laymans terms. Today his clinic was running early although that is not alays the case. I have every confidence in his judgement and feel lucky to have him as my consultant.

I have been fortunate to have Mr Sharma as my consultant for the last 3 years. Mr Sharma always listens to your views and respects your wishes for which type of treatment you want (or don't want) if it is at all possible. When there is a choice of treatments he will advise you as to which would be best for you. He also recognises that he is surrounded by such brilliant caring staff both at Peterborough and Stamford hospitals. Patients already get great care from him and the staff he works with so how can you improve that.

Since I was diagnosed with Prostate cancer in 2003 I have had the best care possible from Mr Sharma. I rate it a second to none and appreciate everything he has done for me. Without his care and attention things could have been a lot worse. Thank you very much Mr Sharma.
