After thinking and thinking about getting a Rhinoplasty (nose job) for years I finally faced my fears and went and saw Mr Carver. I went in feeling nervous, unsure and confused honestly. I came out feeling excited, (still a little nervous) but confident and reassured this surgeon would actually be able be able to get me my “dream nose”. From start to finish Mr Carver was not only incredibly professional but just genuinely kind honestly. He has given me a nose that is how I can only describe as “the nose I always should have had”. It’s incredibly natural and the recovery was amazing. That’s an understatement. I have never ever seen anyone have a nose job and recover so well. No black eyes/bruising and very little pain and discomfort. I’m 2 months in on having my new nose and I feel so confident and excited to see the finished product! (There’s still even more to come as nose jobs do take time but I am over the moon already!) if you’re thinking about having surgery, just have a conversation with Mr Carver, he knows his stuff!! He will take time and effort into making it perfectly for you. Also might just say - on the day of my surgery I was nervous!! Second guessing like maybe this isn’t right?(just silly nerves) But then when Mr Carver came in and spoke with me through my plans again I was left feeling not nervous but excited!! Thank you! Also, the nurses and doctors at Rivers Hospital were so lovely!

Just need to say that I wish Mr Nigel Carver the very very best Christmas as he has given ME all my now and future Christmas's the very best presentsvever. After most of my life of toying with the idea on whether or not I should have my ears pinned back, a friend of mine who had also had cosmetic surgery with Nigel was so happy with her experience and her results that I booked an appointment myself which was a huge step for me. Nigel made me feel at ease about the situation but was completely honest about what I should expect- I felt so comfortable with Mr Carver that I even had my surgery awake and throughout the whole process, I felt very well looked after by him. It’s now been 9 months since my surgery and I am very happy with my results! It took time for me to get here but I can now safely say that I have the ears I should have been born with and they look great. Thankfully, I don’t wish to have cosmetic surgery again but honestly, but if I ever did, I would not choose anyone other than Nigel Carver as I know I will be very well looked after and safety is always put first. Especially if you are an anxious patient, I could not recommend Nigel more! A lovely man and a wonderful surgeon.

I had an upper and lower blepharoplastry in October 2019 by Mr Carver at The Rivers in Sawbridgeworth. He explained fully what the procedure was, what the realistic outcome would be and what after care was required to gain the best outcome. He removed fat and skin from upper lids and fat from lower lids. The result of the operation now, after three months is incrediable. There are very little sight of the scars, my upper lids do not have any puffiness or droopy skin hanging down and there isn’t and puffiness on the lower lids. He achieved what I thought was unachievable. Great surgeon with a very nice manner that made me feel very safe in his hands.

I have had three procedures done by Mr. Carver. Arm lift, breast lift and tummy tuck. He was so very professional and welcoming. He explained the whole of the procedures and what realistic outcome could be achieved. When the operations were done, I was so happy with what he had achieved. Not only do I think Mr. Carver is an extremely good surgeon, but he is a very nice person. I would and have recommended him to others.
