He did say after I got my CT/ultra sound to call his secretary to remind him to look at it. I thought he was joking ....he wasn't. Took him a year to tell me my kidney was completely blocked and it needed an urgent nephrostomy. After my traumatic painful nephrostomy, I got sepsis and neutropenia and Mr Nalagatla came to visit me one night in Monklands to reassure me they were taking good care of me, which I really appreciated. I since asked to be seen at Hairmyres and he obliged. He shocked me by saying id always need a leg bag, which i don't, I can venture out with the smaller more discrete back pouch on. He said I'd need a new tube 6-10 weeks, but I don’t its changed after 3 months. Yes I would recommend Mr Nalagatla. I was an odd, never seen before case.

Mr Nalagatla recently operated on me in relation to a Prostrate issue. Throughout my dealings with him I found him to be professional, knowledgable, extremely thorough and willing to listen and answer any questions or concerns I had, at all times. Notwithstanding I was a private patient, his level of attentiveness post-op was extremely high, regularly making contact with the Ward as well as attending to see me during my stay, surprisingly, on one occasion, unannounced, late at night. His healthcare colleagues who work alongside him, also positively comment about him. I cannot speak highly enough of Mr Nalagatla.

This man is friendly, courteous, skilled and a credit to his profession. He successfully operated on both my wife and me to great effect. We will ever be grateful to him. He obviously had an extremely high workload but went out of his way to ensure that our needs were met in every way. I can't thank him enough.

This surgeon must be the worst in nhs lanarkshire he has no people skills either but if too see him at Ross hall priviate hospital glasgow he can't do a enough for you when you have to pay him for your treatment he should be putting his NHS PATIENTS first after my dealings with this man I fell like a number
