Dr Vimty Harchowal-Muir

I could write a 10,000 word essay about how great Dr Vimty Muir is. But I’ll keep it short. I was admitted under urology and general surgery and required 2 emergency surgeries in July 2020. Dr Muir spoke to me in pre-op and despite being in a lot of pain she reassured me that she would make sure everything would be okay. We had a normal conversation about life and how I wanted to do medicine in the future and was interested in becoming an Anaesthetist. The conversation continued in theatre until I awoke in post-op, to both Vimty and her outstanding registrar Rachel! A top class team who kept me reassured before and after surgery. I honestly felt so safe in there hands and knew that I had the A Team saving my life.
