Both my husband and I have been private and National Health patients of Mr Kevin Varty. He is ALWAYS very professional and knowledgeable, whilst remaining both polite and approachable. My husband had a carotid-carotid bypass and I had surgery on my leg. I would definitely recommend him and hold him in the highest regard. H. Morgan

This consultant did not appear to have prepared for my complex case and was disinterested throughout the consultation. He was generally unhelpful and obstructive, even with non-medical questions e.g. how long is the appointment? He was disrespectful towards the patient and although I was polite and friendly throughout the appointment, he became visibly angry for no obvious reason. Towards the end of the appointment he started making personal derogatory remarks ending with agressively shouting "get out of the door now". I maintained my composure and was polite and professional throughout the appointment. However it was the most unpleasant medical appointment I have ever attended and provided no medical benefit.
