Mr Sampat is the most incredible consultant. He delivered my baby boy who sadly couldn't be in this world with us and he saw the heartache we went though. Lucky for us we fell pregnant again 2 years later and had Mr Sampat as our consultant the whole way through he is the most kind man I have ever met and to be looked after by him and his team so well I will be forever thankful. He delivered our baby girl in July and has seen us go the whole circle with the loss of our baby boy to the birth of our baby girl and I wouldn't have wanted anyone else looking after us. So thank you Mr Sampat for all you have done for us we will be eternally grateful to you.

Mr Karan Sampat performed both my caesarian sections. The first was three years ago. At the time during the pandemic and in a time of uncertainty, he was exactly the sort of person you wanted in-charge of bringing your baby into the world. The operation was made to look so simple, the process was smooth and I recovered extremely quickly. When I was pregnant for the second time, I not only decided to request a caesarian again but asked specifically for Mr Sampat. I was pleased I did this for once again, Mr Sampat put me and my husband at ease, was friendly and approachable and gave us another wonderful relaxed birth experience. The operating theatre was such a calm and -if such a phrase is possible- enjoyable place to be. My recovery has been phenomenal and I put all of that down to his expertise and talent. I have had follow up phone conversations with Mr Sampat to check my recovery and as before, it’s been seamless. I feel fortunate to have had both my children in such a smooth way and carried out by an extremely talented professional.

I have recently given birth at 38 weeks to my little boy while under the care from the start of my pregnancy of dr sampat. Dr sampat advised and helped me during my pregnancy and delivered a healthy baby boy. I have many complex health conditions and dr sampat gave great understanding and support and always listened to my own needs too. His is a credit to the nhs and will never forget what an amazing doctor he is. He constantly was in contact with my other hospitals regarding my health and making sure I’m in his safe hands. I’m so happy to of been under his care at darenth valley. I would recommend him to anyone his care is outstanding. Thank you again for all your support

I recently gave birth to our second daughter. Having been under Mr Sampat for our first daughter nearly 4 years ago I then requested to have Mr Sampat again. His level of care and expertise is second to none. I honestly don’t think there are words available to thank him enough for the care I received from him throughout both of my pregnancies. I was very anxious in my second pregnancy but he reassured me and kept me calm the whole way throughout each of my appointments. I didn’t dream an elective c section could be as calm and such a wonderful experience as we had and that is down to him and his team. I feel eternally grateful and lucky that he was the one who delivered our child the second time round and I knew we were in the safest of hands. Even after the birth, he has taken the time to call and arrange a referral needed for my own health with a cardiologist. Saving me having to go through the GP and starting the process myself. I feel like I have had private healthcare treatment and that nothing has been too much trouble for Mr Sampat. My recovery this time around has been incredible and I would highly recommend him to anyone. We don’t plan to, but if we were to have anymore children in the future then I would 100% be requesting Mr Sampat again. I had a wonderful experience with the care I received at Darent Valley Hospital! Dr. Sanpat is a superb doctor and was a wonderful support when it came to managing mine and my unborn babies care. He made me feel reassured and supported throughout my pregnancy. Doctor Sanpat made himself present to act as my surgeon on the day of my cesarean section and delivered my healthy baby boy at 39 weeks. It was really special that Doctor Sanpat was there from my booking appointment and endeavoured to be personally available for the birth. This attention and continuity of patient care really helped me to feel less anxious every step of the way. The hospital staff all work collaboratively and are incredibly thorough to ensure everything is well planned and you feel confident in their care. I had care at two other hospitals due to my cardiac condition; Doctor Sanpat ensured he kept up to date with everything and liased between the diferent hospitals and specialists to manage my care and plan to meet my wishes to have my birth locally. All the staff including anesthetists, midwives, breast feeding support and catering were always helpful and kind. I can't thank you enough and am delighted with the care that ensured I had a safe pregnancy, surgery, and personal follow-up from my doctor. I am so glad I chose to have my baby at Darent Valley and would highly recommend to anyone.It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend becoming his patient!
