He saved my life when he operated on my brain in may 2008. I'm still here in feb 24. It's been difficult since, but he has given me 16 extra years of life so far. Well done Jonathan for all the good work you did in your career, you are an inspiration. Thank you very much.

My only concern is the thought of this incredibly talented, compassion specialist retiring. Naturally I wish him and his family well, a brilliant time and happiness always. My sadness in the loss of the possibly that he might be available if needed yet again due to the remaining aneurysm(s) may be a tad selfish but I must end by saying THANK YOU very much

Mr Duffill, saved my life 6 years ago by means of a craniotomy to resection a brain avm, which had already bleed a few days prior to surgery. Brilliant care at Southampton general along with after care and physio at the general and western. Cannot thank them enough.
