Mr Bell has a calm, commanding presence and talks clearly and directly when giving medical explanations, all of which instilled trust and confidence in me. I felt relaxed when talking to him and he is a careful, kind listener, happy to answer all questions. I appreciated being able to discuss the results of my MRI scan with him on the phone which meant that any decisions could be made quickly. The operation was successful and the aftercare arrangements have been exemplary. I feel that Mr Bell demands high standards of himself and of those in his team and with whom he works and this, plus his courteous and charming manner, means that I would recommend him most highly.

I've had the same operation, to repair a meniscal tear, on both knees - the second only a month ago. After my first operation three years ago, at the age of 56, I was able to return to playing football, running, cycling and other sporting activities on a regular basis. Hopefully the same will be the case after the latest intervention. My impression is that Jonathan Bell is competent and knowledgeable, and I would recommend him to others in my situation.

Mr Bell performed an arthroscopy on my knee, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the result. I’d been suffering with a skiing injury for months, feeling down about the prospect of narrowed horizons, and I’m thinking now of endless possibilities. Mr Bell was reassuring from the start, as knowledgeable as he is kind, and was able to operate within days. I walked out of the hospital – no crutches - on the evening of the short procedure. Had a very positive follow-up appointment, everything is healing well, and I’m confident and hopeful after only a month – pretty much back to all my regular activities. The physiotherapist I’ve been seeing couldn’t believe the progress I’ve made so far. I recommend Mr Bell whole-heartedly!
