I was diagnosed with prostate cancer six years ago.I recently developed problems with frequency of urination.I was referred by my oncologist to Mr Guy Webster. Based on his diagnosis he advised a Post Transurethral Prostate Resection, which required catheterisation. This was all conducted with careful explanation throughout, and executed with sensitivity, including the effective moderation of pain and discomfort. I have experienced much improvement in the condition, and expect this to continue. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Guy Webster, an incomparable professional, excellent communicator, and empathic carer.

My Son had a a swollen testicle and following a similar situation in his other testicle the previous year I wanted to check it out. As with the prior incident, It wasn't presenting with the standard symptons of a torsion/ twist and was dismissed by 2 GP's before i asked to be referred to Mr Webster. Very quickly he diagnosed that it was in fact a likely torsion, and the other testicle had also suffered a torsion the previous year. Mr Webster directed us straight to hospital with a referral letter. Without his referral i am sure that we would have been sent home from the hospital also as several doctors stated that they didn't believe it was a torsion but would not go against a consultant Surgeons diagnosis. He was operated on and the torsion identified and corrected successfully even though it had been some 48 hours since the incident. I am very grateful for his intervention, as without it my son would undoubtedly have lost his fertility in the second testicle which had already happened in the first.
