I had a cholecystectomy on May 1st 2019 and all went very well. My son was 4 months old at the time and still breastfed so the hospital staff allowed my husband to bring him in for a feed about 6 hours after my surgery. I was able to go home the same day too. It is now several months later and I can eat most foods without a problem (I was on a very restrictive diet before). Mr Euan McLaughlin was very helpful, friendly and informative in all our discussions, I met a nice colleague of his too just after my surgery but don't remember his name.
