Mr Darryl Shore

Mr Shore operated on my son 2 years ago and he saved my sons life. My son has learning difficulties but that made no difference to his approach. I can never thank him enough.

Mr Shore operated on me in 1989 to replace my mitral valve with a st judes artificial replacement at the national heart hospital in westmoreland st london when i was 16 years old. 30 years on, still going strong. I owe him a pint or 2 to say the least!

Mr Shore recently performed an aortic valve replacement on my teenage son. He is a true master of his craft. Any patient who has Mr Shore as his/her surgeon will be in very safe hands.

Mr Shore and his cardiothoracic team looked after me very well at the Royal Brompton Hospital in 2000. I had a straightforward heart valve condition called aortic regurgitation, which was well tolerated and I was never symptomatic. However, eventually it was the right time to have the valve replaced and I underwent a very successful pulmonary autograft (Ross procedure). I have been fine ever since and I am not on any medications. Mr Shore is a man of few words but thoroughly dedicated to his patients. He is truly world class.
