Mr Flood is a huge asset to the NHS, I’ve had 2 procedures carried out by him and he made both operations far less stressful then they could have been. His ability to put you at ease before and after the procedures is amazing. Mr flood goes the extra mile when it comes to patient care, I can’t thank him enough for making such a huge difference in my life.

I first saw Mr Flood at his clinic before my operation in January. He was so caring and kind and kind and explained everything to me, also came to see me twice on the ward after my operation. I can highly recommend Mr Flood he deserves to go far which I'm sure he will. Jean Whitaker

I met Dr flood the morning of my operation Nov 10th 2016 to remove a cervical mass that had been found accidentally whilst an investigation into a spinal problem. His compassion shone through as he explained the procedure, and all the risks involved. When my came to visit me after the operation he passed Dr Flood on the stairs. He recognised my husband and stopped him to explain that the operation had gone very well. It was a great relief to my husband and he was pleasantly surprised that Dr flood had remembered him. I can highly recommend Mr Flood he is a credit to his profession. I would also like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff on Branston ward for their care during my stay on the ward. I do not know where to begin where this surgeon is concerned, from the minute I met him mid December to my operation on the 12th January he was just brilliant. His obvious concern and compassion for his patients is second to none. Post op he was honest and humorous with a superb bedside manner that could put even the grumpiest of patients at ease. He is quite simply, in my opinion one of the best, bright young stars the NHS has to offer and what makes our NHS great. Cool socks too

I met Dr Flood for the first time today. My expectation was not overly high due my previous experiences of clinical care and practice in Lincolnshire Health Trust. I was more than pleasantly surprised however both by Dr Flood and his Senior House Officer today. Dr Flood totally put my mind at rest regarding my condition and future care. I had spent the two previous weeks in limbo expecting the worst. Dr Floods manner, calm attitude, clinical knowledge and reassurance left me feeling confident regarding not only my future care and prognosis but also at last a safe pair of hands to place one's trust in. Bravo who ever employed him I assume following Mr Lambs retirement(sorely missed) and bravo for the wonderful understanding, listening skills and empathy of his team. I will I feel sleep well tonight for the first time in three weeks. Thank you
