I saw Professor Chris Bulstrode following a bump on the head I recieved at home, back on June 10th and he carried out a number of simple yet clear and concise tests to show I had nothing more serious than concussion. Professor Bulstrode was polite, listebned to me first and then explained everything in a manner I was comfortable with and could understand. His post-diagnostic advice was also very helpful, which included a printed sheet with guidance notes. I was very satisfied with the treatment I recieved by Professor Bulstrode and that of the John Radcliffe Hospital.

I had a bad pain on my left side and Prof Bulstrode was very helpful, kind and explained to me all possibilities which could cause the pain. I did not wait for a long time neither, after I was seen by nurse Dr. Bulstrode came to see me in some 10 min. I am extremely satisfied by the treatment I got by this doctor.

This gentleman worked quickly and efficiently, exuding an air of professionalism during the consultation without any sign of brusqueness or superciliousness.

Chris looked at my knee injury with a student doctor (George) both very friendly and took their time to ensure discomfort kept to a minimum. It would have been great to have these chaps looking a my other knee injury 20 years ago may not have finished a possible football career so short. Many thanks

I was really impressed not only by Chris but by the whole set up at John Radcliffe. I had not visited any A&E dept around the country for 15 years and was amazed by the cleanliness of the place and the courteous service offered by the receptionists, triage nurse, student and Chris. There was a lot of time taken to explain the procedure, check all my medical history and ensure that my stitching was done as comfortably as possible. It was also nice to talk about my experiences of working for a development charity.
