At the end of a long day it was re-assuring to have someone with authority and who had retained a sense of humour to give his medical advice.

I appreciated his friendly and cheerful manner - listening to my concerns, but also being jokey and making me laugh. He also came across as very human and not superior and distant. Thanks!

The doctor listened well to what was wrong with me, and was able to explain clearly what was happening, and give me advice for how to go about treating it.

My main work is teaching medical students, in the Emergency Department. I am interested in involving patients in this process.
